Foundation Members
Those people that join AltSpace before the end of 2008 will be classed as a Foundation Member. This entitles the member to a 20% discount if they prepay a plan for 3 months. While your membership remains active this discount will apply during 2008. In 2009 and onwards a Foundation Member will receive at least a 10% discount on the regular membership fees.
The fine print

The security cards/keys to the building cost money. Each Nomad and Resident member will be issued one of each but a bond of $150 will be required at time of initial membership. If you lose the security card/key or fail to return it your bond will be forfeit.
At this stage to encourage people to use the space we are proposing a Foundation Member approach. This will entitle you to preferential AltSpace rates to reward your early involvement while you maintain your membership. It will give you a slight edge over booking the shared resources and make you look more handsome.
Payment
At this stage it will be invoicing with payment by cheque or direct credit. Looking at online options but at this stage getting the space off the ground is the priority.
