AltSpace aims to provide you a place where you can work, meet and plan.

What’s provided?

You can use AltSpace to meet a client and present your latest demo, arrange a meeting with your team mates over the next phase of work or simply a place to hang your hat and use your notebook for the day in ‘The Big City’.

It is based on a membership model where your membership gains you the same features as anyone else, subject to any usage guidelines, i.e. not desk camping for days on end with the ‘Nomad’ option. Membership is by month not by day, we welcome casual dropins but they need to be ‘vouched’ for by an existing member or made contact with AltSpace before hand.

Workstations and meeting rooms can be booked online for certainty or can be used as required (subject to availability).

As this is a shared and open workspace it is expected that a clear desk policy operates. We can not guarantee your stuff if you leave it behind. If we notice it we will try to store it for you.

We also have the makings of a humble tech library, with one simple rule. Don't take books out of the space without the owner's permission.

What Amenities Don’t We Offer?

  • Due to our lease, we aren't allowed bikes (or pets) in the building
  • We're not your mum, dad or babysitter and especially not your maid
  • We're not your printer service
  • We're not your phone provider
  • We're not your onsite hall monitor
